Mou Sagasanai Appreciation Page (More of a Diary, Actually. Sorry.)

~~~~~~~~~~~Under Construction~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The album jacket shown above is the ZARD album, Mou Sagasanai by ZARD. It is one of my favorite albums in the entire world, and it's just real awesome! So, I decided to create a page to, you know. Show why I love each song, and/or how they connect with my personal life!
1. Fushigi ne...
After I was rejected by the boy I liked for the first time, I really, really found myself connecting to the lyrics to this song, despite it being about a breakup. My favorite lyric from this song is "Gently put my broken heart to sleep, in your dream." I found the lyrics real touching to the point of crying whenever I sang it.
2. Mou Sagasanai
Now, this was the second song from the album I've listened to, and I loved it a lot. Sorry for mentioning that guy again, but this was pretty much the first song I sang after he rejected me. I wasn't really familiar with the lyrics at the time, so watching the recording of me singing it makes me cringe now, but I liked the song A LOT!
3. Sunao ni Ienakute
Before I got rejected by that guy, I would sing this song everytime we had a conversation. It was sophomore year, and we didn't have ANY classes together (We met around school and I got attached to him after I found out that we liked the same show), so I treasured every conversation we had. The entire song perfectly captures the feeling of one-sided love, especially the lyric, "You're so kind that it hurts."
4. Hitori ga Suki
5. Forever
6. Lonely Soldier Boy
7. Itsuka wa...
This song is so, so, heartbreaking in my opinion. Izumi writes about the amount of uncertainty in a relationship for their future, but the instrumental just makes it all sadder. The song is about two people who love each other, but the future is uncertain and the narrator worries that their love could fall apart any second no matter how much they love each other in the present. The fact that this song is the last song of the album, is just crazy.
